IB Global Politics addresses contemporary issues that happen in the world of political science, international relations, and humanitarian aid. The course focuses on four core units of power, human rights, development, and peace and conflict studies. Students have immense flexibility in how they approach application of course content into real world case studies that interest them such as ongoing military conflict, regional alliances, the work of NGOs, and environmentalism. Students will use mixed modalities to explore and showcase their content and case study knowledge such as presentations, debates, writing, and research.
